Qigong Classes

Qigong means “energy work” – controlling the movement of chi (energy) within your body. Chi is your internal life force, the energy that gives you life and keeps you alive.Qigong has been practiced in China for more than 3,000 years. It is older than Tai Chi and simpler to learn. Qigong is practiced as a healing art, as a foundation for martial arts, and as a preparatory practice for meditation. In simpler terms, qigong is used by healers, warriors, and priests.

Group exercise classes are an inexpensive way to commit to a routine. You can get a lot of encouragement and camaraderie from others in the class.

CLASS INFORMATION

Qigong

 

    • Wear clothes that are comfortable to move in.
    • No mat is necessary, it is a standing class.
    • Wear flat shoes that are flexible and connect well with the earth.
